Our Qualifications
We are currently delivering qualifications in the following areas:
IT & Technology – it’s more than just asking someone to turn their computer off and back on again. Seriously. And while IT support doesn’t necessarily evoke images of Steve Jobs or Bill Gates, it’s ability to provide you with a foundational knowledge of what is required to oversee successful IT infrastructure is pretty essential to anyone who wants to work with IT hardware.
In tech we know that software ultimately requires hardware and infrastructure, and hardware has to work when you need it to. If you like working with a wide range of people, getting to know an entire organisation and its inner workings, and if you’re just curious about how stuff works – then this is a great career path for you.
The geeks will inherit the earth…
Where you can work: any organisation that uses computers; so pretty much any organisation! You could be an at a major corporate like HSBC, or for a major charity like Just Giving.
Work can include: Providing 1st line support, troubleshooting IT problems, replacing IT hardware, teaching members of the team on how to use their equipment, supplying advice and guidance.
